Toy Safety

As we look forward to another holiday season, children everywhere have one thought on their minds: toys! However, some toys may carry certain risks. The Otsego County Department of Health recommends that you carefully read the warning labels of toys to be sure they are suitable for a child’s age. Start by checking the “recommended age” note on toys. If you learn that a toy has been recalled you should remove it from your home immediately. To learn more about toy safety or to find out if a toy has been recalled, go to www.cpsc.gov.
