Department Name

In 2008, FEMA approved Otsego County's All-Hazard Mitigation Plan.  The plan includes information on hazards and mitigation actions that are common through out the county as well as individual plans that are specific to the unique hazards and mitigation actions of the municipalities that particpated in the plan. 

The County is currently working on an ammendment to the approved plan to include those muncipalities that did not participate in the original planning process.   Those muncipalities include the Towns of Butternuts, Edmeston, Maryland, Pittsfield, and Westford, and the Village of Gilbertsville.
