Madison Square Gardens (MSG) has proposed a music festival in the town of Springfield. MSG is represented by Whiteman Osterman and Hanna, LLP. (WOH). MSG's environmental consultant is AKRF.
The town has retained C.T. Male, P.C. to aid in the environmental review of the project.

Dec 5, 2008 - Final Scoping Document due from Planning Board
Oct 15, 2008 - Public Hearing on the Draft Scoping Document, the public is invited to offer comment on the Document. All comments will be recorded by a stenographer and entered into the public record
Oct 7, 2008 - MSG will host a public information meeting and will present to the community the same materials presented to the Planning Board on Oct 2, questions and answer period to follow
Oct 3 - 27, 2008 - Public Comment Period on the Draft Scoping Document, written comments should be sent to the Planning Board at PO Box 235, Springfield Center, Springfield, NY 13468
Oct 2, 2008 - The town Planning Board accepted the Draft Scoping Document dated Sept 19, 2008
Sept 17, 2008 -Notice pubished in the NYS DEC Environmental Notice Bulliten: the town Planning Board, as lead agency,
determined that the proposed Springfield Music and Arts Festival may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared.
July 23, 2008 - The town Planning Board hosted a a public informational meeting regarding the SEQR process.
July 3, 2008 - The town Planning Board circulated a Notice to Involved Agencies, Declaration of Intent to be Lead Agency. The Notice and all attached documents are at the town library and town clerk's office.
June 23, 2008 - WOH transmitted an Environmental Assessment Form (EAF) and draft scoping document to the town Planning Board.
June 4, 2008 - MSG hosted a public information meeting regarding the project at the community center.
May 23, 2008 - MSG submitted an initial site plan review application form. |
